Clinic Services for Animal Rescue Groups and Volunteers 

C.A.R.E.4Paws offers low-cost mobile spays/neuters and medical services to rescue groups and their volunteers and staff working for animal shelters in Santa Barbara County. This includes volunteers for C.A.R.E.4Paws. We truly appreciate all that you do to help animals in need and improve the future for our four-legged friends. This is a way for us to give back!

We provide a range of services in the mobile clinic and the most common are listed below.


Spay/Neuter Services:
The below surgery prices include the fee for an e-collar ("cone") to prevent post-surgery infection and three days of pain medication to go home.
 

  • Dog spay under 50lbs = $125

  • Dog neuter under 50lbs = $100

  • Dog spay 50lbs to 85lbs = $175

  • Dog neuter 50lbs to 85lbs = $150
     

Pregnant dog = add $50 

Abdominal cryptorchid = add $100 

Inguinal cryptorchid = add $35 

  • Cat spay = $85

  • Cat neuter = $60
     

Pregnant cat = add $25 

Abdominal cryptorchid = add $35 

Inguinal cryptorchid = add $20 ​​

Extra fees may be applied depending on factors such as the size of a dog, if blood work is needed, if antibiotics are needed post-surgery, etc
 

Vaccine Clinic & Medical Services:

  • Rabies, $10

  • Distemper parvo, $10

  • Bordetella, $15

  • Feline distemper, $10

  • Microchips, $10

  • Nail trims, $20

  • Exams, $35

  • Wound care, $25

  • Treatment of basic skin issues, from $25

  • Ear cleanings/treatment of infection, from $25

  • Anal gland expression, $25

  • Basic blood chemistry panel, $75

  • Dentals, $250 or $300 with extractions **

  • Mass removals, $250 or multiple mass removals, $350 **

  • Hernia repairs, $200 **

  • Euthanasia, $150

**Extra fees may be applied depending on factors such as the size of a dog, if blood work is needed, if antibiotics are needed post-surgery, etcWe will apply a $50 discount if a pet needs a spay/neuter as well as a service such as a dental or mass removal that requires anesthesia.
 

We have performed several other procedures as well so feel free to consult us about your pet's particular needs. Certain services, such as x-rays, cannot be performed in the mobile clinic at this time. 
 

Who Qualifies? 

Our low-cost services are reserved for rescue groups and their volunteers as well as staff working for animal shelters and animal welfare organizations in Santa Barbara County. Services are offered and performed in our mobile clinic.
