Companion Pet Assistance
Often, pet owners are forced to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender their beloved animal companions due to lack of financial means or other resources. To bridge that gap and ensure pets stay happy, healthy and with their families for life, C.A.R.E.4Paws' Companion Pet Assistance program, in collaboration with local agencies such as United Way/Home For Good Santa Barbara County, helps low-income, senior, disabled and homeless pet owners in Santa Barbara County with pet food and other basic care for dogs and cats.
Types of services offered
We provide pet food, cat litter, flea medication, blankets, pet jackets, dog beds, leashes, collars and more. We also assist with services such as free spays/neuters, critical veterinary care, vaccinations and microchips in our mobile veterinary clinic to keep animals happy, healthy and with their families for life.
