Donation Drive-Thru & Home for the Holidays Adoption Festival
On Saturday, December 4, we host our Donation Drive-Thru & Home for the Holidays Adoption Festival at Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara and the Elks Lodge in Santa Maria, 10am to 2pm. We hope you will join us for this pawsitive holiday event, aimed to provide resources that keep pets with their families for life, while inspiring forever homes for animals in need from our local shelters and rescue groups.
Festival details
C.A.R.E.4Paws' Donation Drive-Thru & Home for the Holidays Adoption Festival takes place Saturday, December 4, 10am to 2pm, at two locations:
-
Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara (3400 Calle Real)
-
The Elks Lodge in Santa Maria (1309 N Bradley Road)
We invite community members to come drop off dry and canned pet food and monetary donations with the C.A.R.E.4Paws team. All gifts will support C.A.R.E.4Paws' food distribution efforts and other critical wellness services that keep pets healthy and in their homes. Once you exit the drive-thru, you can park and visit with adoptable pets from local shelters and rescues. We will also offer pet photos with Santa to benefit C.A.R.E.4Paws with WinkFace Photography at Earl Warren and Debra Deyette Photo at the Elks.

Enlist your coworkers or fellow students to host a donation drive
We encourage local businesses and schools to raise pet food and funds for C.A.R.E.4Paws before December 4. We will promote your company or school (classroom/sorority) on our website and social media and during our Dec. 4 event. Participating businesses and schools get listed in paid advertisements and students can earn community service hours.
Host your drive through November or schedule it to fall between Thanksgiving and Giving Tuesday on November 30 (the national day of giving). Then drop your contributions off on December 4 at one of our two event locations, or arrange for a pickup at a later date. View and share the community drive flyer!
