TOP DOG: KULA

Dear potential adopter,

My name is Kula, and aside from my great foster parents at Shadow's Fund, I have not been treated very kindly by life so far. I was found wandering the desert in the little rural  town of Wasco, CA, just one of hundreds of dogs being dumped out there every year. I was picked up by Animal Control and taken to a small shelter. Within this little residential area, I had no hope of finding a home.

When the shelter became full, it was time to start euthanizing
dogs. Many of us never really had a chance. So Shadow's Fund rallied the rescue community and with the help of some great people, they were able to get all 13 "redlisted" dogs out of the
shelter that weekend. I was one of them. If you meet me, you'd never know I ever had a bad day in my life. I'm full of joy, love and affection. I greet everyone with soft kisses and a tail wag, and I love nothing more than spending time with people. I am
safe at Shadow's Fund, but I know I deserve a real home and a family of my own. I'm good with other dogs once introduced. I just want to be special to someone and to get back a little of
the love that I so willingly give.
