TOP DOG: BUDDY
Dear potential adopter,
My name is Buddy and they say I'm a very special dog. I injured my knee with an adoptee at the shelter. After months, a foster family was located and I was scheduled for my surgery. The Santa Barbara Animal Care Foundation paid $1,900+ for my surgery.
As you can see in the pictures below, I love kids. I still feel sort of puppyish and often pretend I'm a small dog and try to sit on people's laps. I absolutely love the grass, the sun and just hanging out with my foster family in the kids' playroom.
I have also found a new life passion, the tennis ball. My family is trying to teach my how to play fetch, but I really prefer it when they chase me around. I also love the Frisbee, long ice cubes and chewy toys. I am not aggressive with my food or toys. I get along great with other dogs as well as my foster family's cat, even when she swats at me. I bark at her playfully and bow to get her to play with me, but she doesn't seem interested.
I'm very smart and eager to please, and while I can be a bit stubborn sometimes, I do understand when people mean business. I'm also housebroken.
Check out my SmileBox scrapbook. It's made by my foster family and is filled with photos of me.
My foster family is not able to adopt me, but they are happy to share any information about me with a potential adopter.
