PROJECT RESPONSIBULL
C.A.R.E.4Paws offers free workshops that include pit bull education, obedience training and the chance to spay/neuter your pit bull or pit mix with help of C.A.R.E.4Paws. This program is aimed at increasing awareness of, and responsibility for, this much misunderstood breed. Our next session:
-
~ September 25, 2010
Held at Camp Canine with longtime dog trainer John Sorosky. Groups meets from 2pm to 4pm. Open to the public and shelter/rescue volunteers. Classes fill up quickly, so contact us today to reserve a space. To download the event flyer, click here.
About our three-part program:
> Part I: Pit-Ed
Discover the dos and don'ts of owning a pit bull and help dispel the myths and misconceptions about this breed.
> Part II: Train a Pit
C.A.R.E.4Paws teams up with local trainers to offer FREE basic obedience for pit bull owners. Don't miss this great opportunity to bond with your dog and learn a new trick or two.
> Part II: Fix a Pit
Owners of pit bulls can have their dogs spayed or neutered with help of C.A.R.E.4Paws. Altering your dog can help improve behavior and reduces breed overpopulation.
